Twentieth Century Fox took over San Diego last night as they premiered new footage from Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis’ Machete that brings the red. Inside you’ll not only hear about what was shown at the party, but you’ll also be able to watch the new red band age-restricted trailer that premiered this morning on IGN. In theaters September 3, Machete (Danny Trejo) is a Mexican ex-Federale with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer, who is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator. -Machete is in the hospital with the Avellan twins when all of a sudden hitmen burst in to kill him. He defends himself with a skull scraper and some crazy ass three-bladed chain weapon that he uses to gut a dude and then jumps out of a window using his guts like a rope to make his escape.”
