Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced 1-disc DVD ($28.95), 1-disc Blu-ray ($34.95), and 2-disc Blu-ray 3D ($39.95) editions of Piranha 3D for January 11th. The only extra material on the DVD release will be a filmmaker commentary, and 5 behind-the-scenes featurettes. The 1-disc Blu-ray will include all of the DVD features, plus deleted scenes with optional commentary, deleted storyboard sequences, 5 additional behind-the-scenes featurettes, the Piranha 3D trailer, and TV Spots. The only listed extra material for the 2-disc Blu-ray 3D release is the commentary, 10 behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a 2D version of the film playable on all existing Blu-ray players.
