Sundance ’11: Kevin Smith’s ‘Red State’ Accepted

Writer-director Kevin Smith revealed today on his podcast that his political horror flick Red State was officially accepted into the Sundance Film Festival, which takes place January 10-20 in Park City, Utah. Now we can all look forward to the most ridiculous film auction of all-time… on Ebay. The pic, starring Kyle Gallner, Melissa Leo, Dermot Mulroney, Michael Angarano, Steven Root, Michael Parks, and John Goodman, follows a group of misfits encounter fundamentalism gone to the extreme in Middle America.
