We only have a few updates for the Bloody Disgusting Horror Database and community this week, but we did deliver on one of the most requested features so far: Half star ratings!
You can now rate films with a half star rating, and you can also preview your score before submitting. All previous ratings have been converted to the new scale but feel free to go back and update ratings for films where you might want to move your original score up or down a half star.
Another important update is that we’re going to be saying goodbye to Disqus for commenting on articles and switching to a new system that uses Bloody Disgusting accounts. All of these new features and updates are built with the intention of bringing the community aspect back to Bloody Disgusting and the only way we do it right is by pulling everything together under one account.
Accounts are completely free and give you a lot more than just commenting. You can rate movies, create lists, customize your profile, connect with other horror fans, and there’s so much more on the way **cough** forums **cough**.
