New Art From ‘Exorcismus’ Director’s ‘The Returned’

I’m kind of shocked Filmax International is working with director Manuel Carballo again after he churned out the turd known as Exorcismus.
The Spanish production house responsible for the REC films and the forthcoming thriller Kidnapped is letting Carballo back behind the camera for The Returned.
Penned by Hatem Khraiche and Ruiz-Zorrilla, “Kate works at the hospital in the Return Unit, helping those who have been infected by the virus that turns people into zombies. Kate’s own husband, Jack, has been returned.”
If history repeats itself, I wonder what classic zombie film Carballo will lift everything from?
