I was a pretty big fan of Anchor Bay’s 2010 I Spit on Your Grave, their remake of Meir Zarchi’s 1978 cult classic about a writer who is brutalized during her cabin retreat seeks revenge on her attackers, who left her for dead.
Sarah Butler starred in the modern reboot directed by Steven R. Monroe.
The movie appeared to be well received in the horror community, and must have done quite well financially because, there’s more spit hitting the graveyard.
We can exclusively report that Saw IV and Chain Letter writer Thomas Fenton is officially tackling I Spit On Your Grave 2 for Cinetel. Pretty cool news!
No word on plot or if Monroe is returning. We’ll update you as soon as we know.
