[Boredom Bytes] ‘Silent Hill’ Kart Racing, A Fan-Made ‘The Secret World’ Trailer, Bane Plays ‘Slender’

BoredomBytes

I don’t mean to boast here, but I’ve brought you all some pretty amazing videos since Boredom Bytes began back in July. We’ve seen a handful of intensely weird, borderline nightmare-inducing videos, as well as a few hilarious ones as well. With that said, there’s a very good chance the batch I have waiting for you after the jump is the best I’ve scavenged so far. Continue on for an incredible Silent Hill Kart Racer trailer, a fan-made The Secret World trailer, and Bane plays Slender.

Every once in a while something comes along that you would’ve never in your wildest dreams thought of. For me, Silent Hill and kart racing are two things I wouldn’t have thought to bring together, but after seeing this video a fan made for the (totally not real) video game using Valve’s new Source Filmmaker, I want this bad. If any Konami bigwigs happen by this page, might I suggest dropping Book of Memories in favor of Silent Hill Kart Racer?

The Secret World was a huge letdown for me personally, but it didn’t hit me as hard as it did TJ. He’s never been the same since. Ever since it released TJ has had this thousand yard stare going on–I can’t even say ‘secret’ and ‘world’ in the same sentence for the fear of uttering them will incite a psychotic break. Some of this disappointment stems from Funcom’s impressive ability to make the game look way better than it ended up being. Every trailer was brilliantly crafted, but I dare say this fan-made one beats them all.

Oh, you think darkness is your ally, Slenderman? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it.

Seen something better? Feel free to email me fun stuff you find on the Internet, or if that’s too much work, tweet it to me.

I would totally play that Silent Hill racer!

I really want to play Silent Hill Racer lol. Wow, The Secret World was that bad? Damn, glad I didn’t play it.

I wouldn’t call it bad, but it definitely wasn’t anywhere near as good as it looked prior to its release.
