After Dark Films Feels The Stigmata Of ‘Beatus’

Here’s a story that comes out of left field, mostly because we’re told After Dark Film has a first look deal with Warner Brothers for theatrical distribution.

According to Movieline, After Dark Films is looking to pick up the script to Beatus, by writing-duo, Kristen Ruhlin (pictured) and Tony Repinski. We’re told that Ruhlin is attached to star.

The story revolves around a girl who expereinces symptoms of the Stigmata and discovers that true evil maybe within the walls of the church.

Repinski and Ruhlin worked together previously on the horror, Dark Highway.
