A Lot Of ‘Sinister’ Scares In New TV Spot

I’m super perplexed by the marketing campaign for Summit’s Sinister, but not because it’s bad. The imagery released definitely catches the eye, and I’m sure has many of you excited. I saw the movie this past March at the SXSW Film Festival blind, and what was scary about the movie is being shown in all of these trailers and TV Spots. It’s just kind of a bummer that some of the film’s “power” is being taken away in order to sell the product. Anyways, check out the new Spot with lots of Mr. Boogie.

In the film arriving in theaters october 12, “Found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home, though his discoveries put his entire family in the path of a supernatural entity.“
