Here’s A ‘Carrie’ Banner and Viral Images

Carrie-Banner

In addition to Sony showing footage at this weekend’s New York Comic-Con, we’ve landed a banner and a few viral images from Carrie, their reboot starring Chloë Grace Moretz as the title character.

A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.” Brian De Palma’s 1976 film version of Carrie earned Oscar nominations for stars Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie.

In theaters March 15, 2013, inside we’ve added some virals that take us into the real life of Carrie White. They include a newspaper clipping and Carrie’s creative writing assignment

Both images come courtesy of the film’s Facebook. #WhatHappenedToCarrie

This article was found in the Chamberlain archives. It was printed over a decade ago. That would have made Carrie at least five years old. Is it possible that telepathic powers of that magnitude can develop at such a young age?

Creative writing assignment: untitled poem, Carrie White.
