The last time I went trick-or-treating, I was dressed in full Nemesis attire, complete with big leather jacket (with a stunning Umbrella logo stitched to the back), rocket launcher, and boots that added a good 3-4 inches of pure terror. It was hopelessly geeky and way over-the-top, but at the time, I felt like a total badass. Now, I can relive those fond memories, sans Nemesis ensemble, in the new Halloween update available now for Guild Wars 2. NCsoft and ArenaNet don’t want to ruin anything since they’d rather you see it for yourself, but what we know is it adds a brand new story that follows the return of a king who was slain by his own people, trick-or-treating, special costumes, and holiday themed crafting recipes. Much of the new content is temporary, so if you want to enjoy it now, you best act quick. It’s free, so you have nothing to lose.
