Movies.com editor Peter S. Hall teamed with Austin based writer Eric Vespe and director Kristoffer Aaron Morgan – both who coincidentally write for Aint it Cool News – to produce a short film project that premiered at last year’s Fantastic Fest.
With Halloween arriving tomorrow, we’ve landed the exclusive online premiere as a special treat!
Isolated in a place where twisted creatures torment him from the dark, No Way Out stars genere fav AJ Bowen (The Signal, The House of the Devil, You’re Next, A Horrible Way To Die) as a man desperately tries to find an escape. It was shot for less than three grand in two days!
“I wanted this to be a simple, visual horror poem about being paralyzed by your own thoughts,” said Morgan. “Working with AJ Bowen was pure movie making bliss. He blends professionalism and good natured humor perfectly while on set, making everything more relaxed.”
Paul Gandersman also produces with Arcanum Pictures. Elizabeth Avellan (Predators) Executive Produced. Makeup effects were done by Doug Field and Susan Benson (Teeth, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane).
Enjoy your treat inside and watch for more throughout the day!
