Capcom didn’t have as much luck with their slew of Resident Evil releases this year as they probably hoped they would. Sure, they sold like crazy, but Operation Raccoon City was criticized for being a generic squad-based shooter that was void of any real scares and Resident Evil 6 surprised (almost) everyone when it tried to do everything and only managed to completely polarize critics and fans alike. I enjoyed both to varying degrees, but the real gem, and the one game I wasn’t able to play this year, was Resident Evil: Revelations. It looks like its 3DS exclusivity could soon change, as the Korean Ratings Board has recently listed the title for a release on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Whether that comes in the form of a full retail release or to the digital space, that would be amazing.
