While we haven’t even seen a full-fledged trailer for director Zack Snyder upcoming Superman flick, Man Of Steel, he’s already getting pestered with questions about how it ties into the Justice League film that Warner Bros. has planned. In a recent chat with The NY Post, Snyder spoke briefly and vaguely about how his take on the Superman might work its way into the Justice League movie.
Snyder said, “I don’t know how Justice League is going to be handled. Honestly, I don’t, but The Man of Steel exists, and Superman is in it. I don’t know how you’d move forward without acknowledging that.”
When asked if Warner Bros. approached him about bringing the character into the bigger picture, the director said, “Um, how can I answer that? I can’t really say anything to that, because that’s a big spoiler. I will say, yeah, they trust me to keep them on course.”
From his response, it sounds like Snyder’s Superman will somehow offer up a background for the Justice League film, which is really no surprise.
Cavill, starring as Superman, is signed on for three films with the company. With all this buzz, expect a new trailer soon enough.
