This Viral Image Indicates Mrs. White Thought ‘Carrie’ Was A Cancer

Sony Screen Gems’ Carrie stars Chloë Grace Moretz as the title character along with Julianne Moore as her overprotective mother Margaret. If you’ve read the original book, you’ll know that much of it is testimonial pieced together from fictional newspapers, interviews, Doctors’ reports etc… The latter of which is what we have below in this newest viral image from the film. The redacted report indicates that Margaret White thought of her unborn daughter as a cancer.

In the film from director Kimberly Peirce and producer Kevin Misher, “A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.” Brian De Palma’s 1976 film version of Carrie earned Oscar nominations for stars Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie.

    Hilarious that they are still using the “reimagining” term. It’s yet another remake. Nothing more, nothing less.
