[Random Cool] Christmas Trees Fight Back In ‘Treevenge’!

One of the most infamous holiday short films of all time is Hobo With A Shotgun and S-VHS director Jason Eisener’s “Treevenge”, a film worthy of an annual showing much like Trick ‘R Treat on Halloween. Thus, we present it once again with a side of cookies and milk.

For those of you unaware, this 2008 short “details the experiences and horrifying reality of the lives of Christmas trees. Clearly, for trees, Christmas isn’t the exciting “peace on earth” that is experienced by most. After being hacked down, and shipped away from their homes, they quickly become strung up, screwed into an upright position for all to see, exposed in a humiliation of garish decorations. But this Christmas will be different, this Christmas the trees have had enough, this Christmas the trees will fight back. ‘Treevenge’ could be a short film about the end of days for Christmas trees, or perhaps, the end of humanity?

Watch it below and enjoy your goregasm.

Only first saw this a few weeks ago, and it’s fantastic. With Hobo with a Shotgun, Treevenge, and his awesome segment in ABCs of Death, I can’t WAIT to see what he does with S-VHS.

It’s another Festivus miracle. That was high-larious!

In all seriousness this short film is probably one of the best things to come out in the 2000’s as far as horror goes. Such a fun, campy, gory, well executed, and ridiculous story!
