More International One-Sheets For Renny Harlin’s ‘The Dyatlov Pass Incident’
We’ve received word out of the EFM in Berlin that Renny Harlin’s The Dyatlov Pass Incident isn’t very good; but in retrospect, last year I was told Maniac was garbage, and that ended up being my favorite film of 2012.
The top secret pic is getting big releases internationally, while there’s zero news about a U.S. distributor. We’ve landed a few new international one-sheets. They all suck. I want to see some images from the movie dammit.
“The Dyatlov Pass Incident follows a group of students on a trek to investigate the true life mystery of nine Russian skiers who befell an unexplained death while skiing in the Russian mountains in 1959. To this day, their deaths have been one of the most bizarre unsolved mysteries of the 20th century.“

Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
