OMG THATS SOOO RIDICULOUS. WHAT A COPYCAT. REALLY, THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE SO BAD THAT I CANT EVEN IMAGINE. EVIL DEAD IS A CLASSIC, AND THE REMAKE IS GOING TO BE FUCKING AMAZING BUT THIS IS SHITTTTT.

  • Baphomitt

Any plot that combines the phrases – group of friends / secluded cabin in the woods / fun weekend, gets an automatic fail. Unless of course it’s Evil Dead… or Cabin in the Woods. lulz.

cabin in the woods was awful

      • Doug-Brunell

As a fan of backwoods horror (hell, my “Nothing Men” is a total love letter to that genre), I have to say that “Cabin in the Woods” wasn’t “awful.” It wasn’t great, and it dragged on a bit long, but it was a pretty decent film with some very effective scenes.

    This looks very nice.
No high-Budget Hollywood movie – but exactly that looks great imo.
    The scandinavians make good movies.
And cmon guys – if the americans copy/remake scandinavian movies (like Let me In) – why not this way…

Especially the end scene with that turning eye freaked me out ^^

  • Justen

This looks like an exact replica of The Evil Dead. Even the zombie people are very similar looking to the Deadites. What a rip-off.

Sweden represent. Looks a bit B, but what ever. It’s Swedish and full of blood and gore.

  • djblack1313

looks ok. the shaky cam thing was a bit annoying though. and “Evil Dead vibe”? it’s more spot on to say “the Swedish version of Evil Dead”.

    • DarrelDreadful

CO-SIGN! I thought the exact same thing as soon as the girl went down into the cellar. Turn off the volume and you would think it was a fan-made movie that was made to either “rip off” or “honor” The Evil Dead lol

      • djblack1313

        Darrel, right?! :)

  • Evil_Flip

Not impressed, but that shot with the girls eye at the end makes me want to see this xD

That looked great! To someone who doesn’t understand Swedish, the language gives the trailer a sinister vibe. Evil Dead is overrated anyway; hopefully, this film does not have to adhere to the censorship issues that American Horror movies have. I swear, if I have to sit through one more PG-13 rated horror movie….

  • flesheater24

I’m down. I love myself a good gore film. DOn’t get many of those anymore. You know what I’m waiting for A remake of Dead Alive. Next You can’t remake that movie ever that’s a fuckin classic

yeah…lol…. big time Evil Dead – Either this was made to ride the trail of Evil Dead, or it was made at the wrong time and will look like a ripoff… and probably nowhere near as good…..
Regardless, it’s coming for our entertainment… and if it’s entertaining, then they’ve done a good job.
Sam Raimi once said something to the likes of… A movie is to entertain people. If your entertained then they’ve done their job.

  • hess

    will be watching this!

  • VampireJack

Wow – what a BLATANT rip off!
I’ll give it a watch though, it may have something different to offer than the original Evil Dead, perhaps?

Did anyone ever see the other Evil Dead rip-off called DEADFALL?
That was okay for what it was…..
