Prog-metal band Periphery have released an official video for “Scarlet”, which comes off their sophomore album Periphery II: This Time It’s Personal (review). The video opens with a futuristic statue that looks suspiciously like the destructive robot from the “Make Total Destroy” video. From there, five of the band members begin eating a smorgasbord of hamburgers and hot dogs using only mustard as a condiment (all while being in a spaceship that is shaped and colored like a restaurant mustard container). Meanwhile, the sixth member (Adam “Nolly” Getgood”) is tied up and beaten brutally for being Team Ketchup, blood spraying everywhere. Upon his escape…well, let’s just say that the mustard and ketchup sh!tstorm hits the fan.
