Take A Bite Out Of the Opening Scene to ‘The Last Exorcism Part II’!

Not screened for critics, CBS Films has shared the opening sequence from The Last Exorcism Part II, in theaters everywhere tomorrow. Evan Dickson will be out late seeing the movie for you dear readers; but we encourage you guys to write your own reviews, too.

Continuing where the first film left off, Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is found alone and terrified in the woods. Back in the relative safety of civilization, Nell realizes that she can’t remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean herlast exorcism was just the beginning.

Cabin Fever and Hostel‘s Eli Roth returns to produce this possession horror flick.

Fuck it, I’ll watch this as it’s not showing ANYWHERE within 5 hours of me! Anyone know how many screens this was actually put on? Can’t be too many, usually even a limited release is showing within 4 hours of me but not this one!

The first part was a bit predictable but there seems to be some nice suspense. I think it looks pretty good!

Well that was unexpected, not in a bad way, I just really liked the look and tone of that scene.

  • Wow, I thought the first one was bad! I just got home from watching “Part II” and it was worse than the first. Barely anything about the film was salvageable, save for Ashley Bell’s great acting. Other than that, another horrible film by Eli Roth. He really needs to stop making horror movies (or in this case, producing them). He obviously has no idea what he is doing.
