I loved the first so much. I’m so excited for this one. Maybe I’ll be lucky enough to get a showing in my town.

I was severely disappointed with the first one. All the great bits were in the trailer. Best segment was Amateur night but even that was destroyed by the clips that revealed way too much. With the exception of the second part, the rest 3 were boring and the characters so unlikable. And I am usually not that cruel with horror. However, seen the talent behind this one, I am definitely going to buy the blu ray (again) as her ein the UK, we never got any theatrical release :(

I’m a long-time horror fan(in my 50′s), so I definitely am confident in what I like and don’t like. I absolutely couldn’t stand the V/H/S movie when I watched it on TV … a few minor OK moments, but that’s all.

Still, I’m always open minded and will not let my V/H/S feelings prejudice seeing the sequel … I hope it’s a good one. There just aren’t enough great and original horror movies made today (as evidenced by all the remakes/re-boots), so I’ll take any decent horror films I can get.
