A 27-year old aspiring rapper by the name of Wafeeq Sabir El-Amin apparently shot his friend in the head as a sacrifice in order to join the secret society known as the Illuminati. The victim, who was asleep after prolonged usage of marijuana, was woken by El-Amin who said “You are my sacrifice,” before firing a bullet into the victim’s head. It ricocheted off the victim’s skull allowing the victim to wrestle with El-Amin, grab the gun and shoot him in the stomach. El-Amin is facing four charges total, including malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. The victim has not been charged.
The trial will take place June 26th and 27th and is expected to tackle the hip-hop culture and the role of the Illuminati in the music genre. More information can be found here.
