New Clip For ‘The Lords Of Salem’ Creeps Up Behind You

Following last week’s new still from Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem, we get the clip that image was taken from! Maybe it wasn’t Bigfoot after all! The film Sheri Moon Zombie, Bruce Davidson, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, Ken Foree, Patricia Quinn, Dee Wallace, Maria Conchita Alonso, Judy Gleeson, Meg Foster and Griffin Boice.

From the singular mind of horror maestro Rob Zombie comes a chilling plunge into a nightmare world where evil runs in the blood. The Lords of Salem tells the tale of Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie), a radio station DJ living in Salem, Massachusetts, who receives a strange wooden box containing a record, a “gift from the Lords.” Heidi listens, and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of the town’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad, or are the “Lords of Salem” returning for revenge on modern-day Salem?

Here’s Brad’s review out of TIFF, as well as Mike’s more positive take. The Lords Of Salem is in limited theaters (New York, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, DC, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Detroit) April 19 from Anchor Bay Films.

April is going to be such a great month for me. Evil Dead AND The Lords Of Salem in theaters! Ugh, I can’t wait!

    • Aaron Emery

I’m seriously contemplating a trip to Boston to see this in a theater.

      • Zombie-Killa

Long drive, I guess? I only have to drive twenty something minutes from where I live, so I don’t have any major worries.

Every now and then I MIGHT go to the IMAX theater. I did for Star Wars Episode III back in 2005 (?), but I rarely go, because it’s an hour+ drive from where I live, and IMAX tickets are expensive as shit. lol.

        • Aaron Emery

I suppose it’s not too bad of a drive, about 4 hours. The cinematography in this looks worth seeing on a big screen.

          • Zombie-Killa

4 hours for a Zombie film is worth it, Aaron! But to be honest, the last time I decided to drive that long, I went to Disney World/Universal Studios theme parks. lol.

ha we are getting this finally in the UK zombie-killa! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!

  • Ravinus

That was bad ass. The breathing and the music was very cool. I really hope this doesn’t suck.

  • Marrow

    Fantastic clip.
The reveal was so well done.
    Cannot wait to see this!

  • djblack1313

i know i kinda griped about this on the first 2 clips and i am up front enough to admit I WAS WRONG!! LOL. i love that each clip is so short. it’s just enough to entice but not too long to spoil anything. i love that i really only know what was in the trailer and even that i don’t remember because i only watched it once. it’s going to be nice to see this (even though i don’t think it’s coming to where i live) not having the whole thing already played out in clips. fresh eyes!

  • doomas10

I cannot wait to see this film. I have been supporting it since I learnt the story. It can’t disappoint me! It won’t disappointed me! This is my number one film of the year that I really want to see.

  • coldblood

That’s kinda creepy, like when your girlfriend tells you she’s a week late.
