Sony Teases Design Of PlayStation 4

Tomorrow morning, Microsoft will reveal their follow-up to the Xbox 360 — and yes, I’ll be here to excitedly fill you in as it happens. Sony knows this, so to lure some of the spotlight away from their biggest competitor they’ve unveiled a brief tease of an impending unveiling of what the PlayStation 4 console will look like. Sure, that sentence made sense.

The console’s design was surprisingly absent when Sony first unveiled it back in February, leaving many of us to wonder whether it’s design would mess with the delicate balance of our living room’s feng shui. Unfortunately, we still don’t have an answer to that. What we do have is a batch of close-ups and a blurry teaser, both of which you can enjoy after the jump.

If the following images and blurry teaser aren’t enough for you, Sony will be putting everything in focus during their pre-E3 press conference on June 10.

As cool as the new Xbox is gonna be now that (apparently) they’re prepping that Illumi-room thing for it, I’m much more excited to see more Playstation stuff.

That actually hurt my eyes. Eh, I’m an xbox bloke so nothing can take attention from their showing tomorrow. I like the PS for exclusive games like whatever David Cage thinks up or Uncharted or whatever.
But Xbox would be my first choice and here’s hoping it delivers.

Xbox FTW. PS3 turned me off to Sony forever.

    Total fangasm. PlayStation FTW!

Not sure how I feel about this. I’m not going to buy a console based on the design (if I buy a new one at all). And the “Slim version” will be out next year anyway.
AND as long as I’ve not seen the new Xbox, or the complete PS4 for that matter, I’m not deciding anything. ALSO PRICE! and games. Everything really.
    Gotta wait for E3 . . .

    I WANT!
