V/H/S/2 just hit VOD!! You can find the iTunes and Apple TV link here. Other outlets carrying it should also include Amazon (link link here), AT&T UVerse, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Google Play, Playstation 3, Sudden Link, Time Warner Cable, Verizon Fios, VUDU and Xbox Zune. Look around! There’s also a theatrical rollout set for July 12th. Today we have a featurette that features video interviews with most of the film’s directors.

In the film directed by Simon Barrett, Adam Wingard, Gareth Evans, Eduardo Sanchez, Gregg Hale, Jason Eisener and Timo Tjahjanto, “Inside a darkened house looms a column of TVs littered with VHS tapes, a pagan shrine to forgotten analog gods. The screens crackle and pop endlessly with monochrome vistas of static—white noise permeating the brain and fogging concentration. But you must fight the urge to relax: this is no mere movie night. Those obsolete spools contain more than just magnetic tape. They are imprinted with the very soul of evil.

The good news is that VHS 2 is better than the original. The bad news is that it still isn’t great with the exception of Timo Tjahjanto’s entry. My god that one was fantastic! Eduardo Sanchez’s entry is pretty decent as well. Other than those two be prepared for a lot of dumb coupled with jump scares and silliness. The worst by far is Jason Eisner’s entry which is definitely a new low for the series.

I loved Tjahjanto’s entry. It was fantastic! I don’t think Eisner’s entry was bad. I actually liked it quite a lot. I thought Wingard’s story was definitely the weakest out of the 4. Otherwise I agree with you. It was better but not exceptional.

it sucked, and for me while the 1st was not that great I prefer it this this garbage

the only half decent one was the 3rd segment but then the PAPA at the end totally ruined it all

Just watched this last night. Fuck me its bad.

The writing and acting is horrible. In ALL of them. Don’t understand how this got so much press saying how its better then the original. It most definitely isn’t.

    Worst horror anthology yet.

Watched the movie late at night and had a blast. An improvement over the 1st. Safe Haven scared the crap out of me. Good job.
