Capcom has finally revealed Dead Rising 3, not through a CG trailer, but through six gorgeous minutes of in-game footage. I’ve never been a huge fan of the franchise, mainly because of the annoying time limit and excess of camp. If what they showed off earlier today is anything to go by, that will definitely change.
The time limit looks to have been removed, there might not be an always visible HUD, you can now craft on the fly rather than being forced to find a workbench, and much of the silliness has been replaced by a grittier look and tone. Dead Rising 3 just shot to the top of my list of most anticipated horror games. See it in action after the jump.
