It’s Official!! All 12 ‘Friday The 13th’ Movies In One Blu-ray Box!! Updated With Art!!

Last week we reported that it seemed like all 12 Friday The 13th films would collected in a Blu-ray box set via Warner Bros. And today that sh*t has been confirmed!

All 12 films will be stretched across 10 discs, with 7 movies hitting the hi-def format for the first time. There will also be a bonus blu dedicated to special features and a 40 page companion book of highlights culled from Peter Bracke’s “Crystal Lake Memories.”

Head below for the details. It retails for $130 but I’d bet you could pick it up for 80 or so at Best Buy/Amazon. And remember, with WB retaining home video rights it only underscore that Paramount specifically got theatrical rights. I’d expect a new movie next year.

Check out the artwork and special features below!

Films in The Collection include:
· Disc 1 – Friday the 13th (1980)
· Disc 2 – Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)
· Disc 3 – Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3D (1982)
· Disc 4 – Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) NEW TO BLU-RAY
· Disc 5 – Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985) / Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986) NEW TO BLU-RAY
· Disc 6 – Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988) / Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) NEW TO BLU- RAY
· Disc 7 – Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) / Jason X (2002) NEW TO BLU-RAY
· Disc 8 – Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
· Disc 9 – Friday the 13th (2009) (Theatrical Version and “Killer Cut” Extended Version)
· Disc 10 – Killer Bonus DVD Disc

n September 13th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will provide plenty of blood-curdling thrills when Friday The 13th: The Complete Collection debuts on Blu-ray. For the first time, all twelve Friday the 13th films will be packaged together, (with seven of them making Blu-ray debuts) as a result of a strategic distribution alliance between Paramount and Warner announced last fall, granting Warner exclusive video distribution rights to over 600 Paramount titles. The set also includes a Friday The 13th Killer Extras Bonus DVD.

This intense ‘slasher’ series is one of the longest-running and most successful horror franchises in film history, surpassing the domestic theatrical box-office grosses of such legendary series as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The film that turned psycho killer Jason Voorhees and his infamous hockey mask into a pop culture icon has also bested the horror competition as the #1 home entertainment seller, with total sales of $119.7M to date.

The 10-disc collection ($129.95 SRP) includes the twelve films on nine Blu-ray discs, as well as a killer DVD bonus disc full of special features on the making of the famous franchise. The must-own set will be presented in a collectible tin case with 11 hours of previously released special features and a 40-page soft cover book. The book is excerpted from Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday The 13th, a fan-favorite volume that’s viewed as the ultimate memoir of the series, and highlights some of the 200 interviews, 600 photos, storyboards, concept art and more. Also included is a brand new, official Camp Crystal Lake embroidered Counselor Patch.

Friday The 13th: The Complete Collection also includes digital versions of all 12 films with UltraViolet, allowing viewers to download and instantly stream the films to a wide range of devices from computers and compatible tablets to smartphones, game consoles, Internet-connected TVs and Blu-ray players.

    i can’t wait for a new movie!

  • Forsythia

    It’s about time! 🙂

  • lhcameron

I think the new movie should be about the re-opening of camp crystal lake. But instead it would be called something else for obvious trouble with getting sign ups if people knew it was the infamous lake where people died. The events from the remake are simply re-capped through dialogue as the brother (jared padalecki) was arrested for being believed to be crazy and have actually committed all the murders by trying to claim “Jason Voorhees” did it. So of course no one believes him (and its an easy way to keep him from being in the sequel)…. So anyway the camp is opening, there are already kids there age 8-12. The counselors begin getting picked off one by one etc… Im an aspiring screenwriter and it would be sooo awesome if i could get my script pitch out haha. Possibly help the franchise.

    • djblack1313

lhcameron, the ending where Whitney gets attacked by Jason (him being in the lake) was, it’s safe to assume, a dream sequence. she’d be able to verify that her brother was NOT the killer. not to mention that the many bodies down in Jason’s lair would give a timeline (going by the decomp with the bodies) and Clay would no doubt have an alibi for many/most of them. also there’s a treasure trove of proof in those tunnels showing that Clay wasn’t the killer.

so no offense but you need to rethink your script.

      • lhcameron

damn lol. Good point. No offense taken though.

  • Francesco

NOW NOW NOW it must be region free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • flexible-head

Warners are great – ALL their blurays are region free. So this is a win, for once.

  • GoryGus

I can barely retain myself from shouting out loud from happiness !! Blu-ray box set and new movie ?!?!?! Forget it… I’m shouting 😀

    • GoryGus

Retain, refrain… who cares, either ways I’m shouting !!

  • sweetooth

Ugh, what is it with these blu-ray box sets of the slasher greats cramming two movies on to one disc?

    No uncut prints, no sale.

    • Austin

Good point, are they not going to all be uncut? I know theres scrapped footage they could include for nearly all the movies, right?

  • Austin

Wondering will the F13th part 4 have the Adam Green and Joe Lynch commentary I’ve heard them mention? or is that a different release of it?

  • vtasrcrds82

    When, when, when!?!?!?!?!

  • diapers

This is good. I hope it is available before Friday September 13th. On that day I intend to skip work, watch every single one, back to back, taking breaks only for bathroom runs and trips to the fridge for beer. I reckon it should take about 18+ hours. My wife and child will need to vacate the premesis. Who is with me!?

  • djblack1313

over on they have the cover art (w/ a pic of the discs themselves and the booklet inside). just sayin’.

  • Joe-Banger

Makes me wish I had a blu-ray player. Congratulations dj1313, you are number 13 on the comment list! You’ve won the grand prize!

    • djblack1313

Joe, AWESOME!! 13 is my favorite number!

  • LukeOz

Sorry, if they are not uncut i’m not biting. When could it be a more perfect time to put some love and spend some money on on this cash cow for them? If the likes of “From Beyond” can get digitised re-edits of old deleted footage back into the movie, I’m sure a huge studio like Paramount can get it done. Granted, some of the footage may not be in the best condition…

Outside of the stuff we’ve seen from Part 6, Part 7 etc – there’s supposedly a heap of out takes from Jason Goes To Hell that’d i’d be keen to see from the ‘first cut’. I”d also love to see the alternative end for Part 3 – surely it’s in an archive somewhere!

    • divisionbell

Jason goes to hell was cut pretty heavily (no bathroom sink face bashing) and the 7th was cut quite a bit. I’m sure there’s more.

Like the double spear in the second. Such a great nod to twitch of the death nerve…

      • djblack1313

divisionbell, i (no pun) kills me that the all the amazing sounding cut footage from F13 part 2 is allegedly gone/destroyed. part 2 is my fave and i’d pay almost any price to get a restored version of it!

        • djblack1313

          IT (no pun) kills me…

not I (no pun) kills me…

lol. damn no edit button. lol.

  • WalkingDeadGuy

This is amazing news. I can’t wait 🙂

  • TwistedCritic

Not a horrible cover, but it cracks me up that of all the films they’re using an image from Jason Goes to Hell. And why can’t they use the classic Friday the 13th font? The DVD box set from 2011 had it.

  • staindFAN

I love the artwork for this! Look, everyone has their favorite Jason’s, and we all know Jason Goes to Hell is not very good, but, the “look” of Jason in that entry is by far my favorite, followed by part 7 and part 2 (bag head will always be scarier to me then the hockey mask) so it really excites me to see that image on the front of this box set, killer!

  • KnightClaw

Great Blu-ray set, but it almost would’ve been better to wait til the next F-13 movie sequel is made, then it the set would have the novelty of having “All 13 Movies.”
Oh well, still a cool set, but , they still need to be the UNCUT versions to get my money.
I enjoyed the 2009 Reboot, so looking forward to a new F-13, although I’m much more of a Michael Myers fan.
Where the hell is a new HALLOWEEN film, already?!
( NO white-Trash RZ version, please)
Bring on the John Carpenter classic version of Michael in a new , atmospheric & Chilling Halloween film!
Give us NEWS soon, ok? Thanks

  • Francesco

they’ll release it so fast ’cause they’ll make a sequel for nest june. i’m sure of it. the cover is bad but i can’t wait!!!!!!

  • Bad_Lieutenant17

Oh joy now I can watch Part 7 in all it’s chopped up censored glory on Blu Ray! Who gives a shit! If this doesn’t include at least Parts 5,6,7, and 8 uncut on top of Parts 1 and 9 this box set is essentially garbage! From a fan who has bought both previous box sets the least they could have done is include a kleenex with this one. So that way I can wipe the tears from my eyes after i’ve been FUCKED!!!

  • Fritte

The only thing I don’t like is the artwork on the tin case.
Couldn’t they have spent a little more time making a better artwork? It looks like it’s some new beginner “bright minded” kid who did it in Photoshop. But, but, but.. I will definetly get this sh*t! 🙂
Questions: Does it contain the uncut versions? Will it be region free? Will it be only Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 or what?

  • BolleFanden

I will be most definitely be getting this set, but only because it’s on blu and I only have the first Friday The 13th, and it’s on DvD. But I honest to God hope they include the uncut versions of every movie.

  • Baphochrist

Another boxset….still cut versions. *sigh* The day they release a boxset with full uncut versions and alternate/deleted scenes is the day I’ll pay…and pay whatever stupid price they charge. It would need to include the following:

    1 – Uncut

2 – Uncut and alternate ending

3 – Uncut and alternate ending

4 – Uncut with deleted scenes and alternate ending

5 – Uncut with alternate “version 2” scenes

    6 – Uncut

7 – Uncut and alternate ending

    8 – Uncut

9 – Uncut with all the alternate workprint footage as alternate scenes

    10 – Uncut

    11 – Uncut

    12 – “Killer Cut”

  • Baphochrist

STOP BUYING THESE HALF ASSED BOXSETS! Just because fuckin part 5 is on blu ray “finally” haha or it’s got a cool cover or a really bad Jason mask or something. I would rather have uncut versions than whatever ultra super 4k high definition bla bla technological gimmick is currently in vogue. Sure having them on blu ray is kinda cool but I would fucking take beta tapes if they were all UNCUT.

  • Pink

Can`t you read??? There will NEVER EVER EVER EVER be uncut editions of these films! PERIOD!!! There are countless interviews with the filmmakers and producers and they all say: THE CUT FOOTAGE IS LOST! It was thrown away after the mpaa told them to cut the footage out. Most studios store cut footage, but Paramount treated the series like shit and didn`t bother to store it for the future. Cut Footage you`ve seen so far is assembled from workprints and director`s tapes on VHS. They are NOT in good enough condition to be re-inserted into a bluray quality film.

I just don`t understand the hate. This is THE best versions you can get of these movies. Take it or leave it! Their gonna be in 1080 with nice packaging and a ton of extras…that`s it. I`m very happy warner are making an effort with this. Paramount never bothered! I`m VERY worried now that Paramount got the rights back again 🙁

  • Pink

There is only two things about this set that worries me

1 – The third film is not gonna be in stereoscopic 3D
2 – Jason goes to hell may not be “UNRATED”.

I hope warner at least will include the unrated version of JGTH
