Kanye West Channels ‘American Psycho’ At L.A. ‘Yeezus’ Listening Party

Rapper Kanye West is poised to release his latest opus Yeezus tomorrow via Roc-A-Fella Records. Over the weekend, West hosted an L.A. listening party where he projected a short film that is basically a shot-for-shot copy of the classic Huey Lewis And The News scene from American Psycho. The short film stars reality TV star Scott Disick in the role of Patrick Bateman and Kim Kardashian BFF Jonathan Cheban. You can watch a super blurry, terrible audio quality video capture of the film below.

Yeezus is one of the year’s most anticipated albums and features three tracks produced by Daft Punk. West built this album around his concept of ADGAF (I don’t give a f*ck). He wanted there to be no theme aside from the theme that it be dark. A track that was done with EDM sensation Skrillex was cut from the album. Since being leaked recently, the album has been getting mixed reviews.

I don’t see the point in making an exact copy. And Bateman with a beard??? Played by some reality TV “star”? God…

Completely STUPID!! That video is a waste of time. What is the point of redoing a scene from a movie if your not changing it or doign it in a joke way. And if that is the case, Huey Lewis and Weird Al already did an amazing and funny video of this scene. Now Kayne is gonna sample movie clips too? douche.
