Watch The High Quality Version Of Kanye West’s ‘American Psycho’-Inspired Yeezus Commercial

Yesterday we posted a low quality video of Kanye West‘s Yeezus commercial, which was heavily inspired by the 2000 classic American Psycho. Starring Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheban, the video re-enacts the famous Huey Lewis And The News scene. You can watch the hi-quality video below.

While the original scene is full of tension and black humor, this “tribute” is full of quite possibly the most annoying voicework I’ve ever seen. I’m told that Disick is some kind of reality TV star (I’ve honestly never heard of him before today) but this really makes me question why. Then again, a lot of mega popular culture makes me shake my head, so I guess it only makes sense.

Got any thoughts/questions/concerns for Jonathan Barkan? Shoot him a message on Twitter or on Bloody-Disgusting!

Kanye West is a disgrace to music!

Kanye West knows what he is doing and Yeezus is reeeeally fucking good. The short film works if you’re in tune with Kanye and his whole musical journey and with that being said, American Psycho is also a classic to me. Scott Disick is known on TV for being really fucking annoying but really pompous and full of himself which is why Kanye (his brother-in law now with Kim Kardashian) put him in the short film. This version is tongue-in cheek it’s not supposed to be scary or full of tension.

    ok this was pathetic.

This really was pretty disgraceful. I mean why do that to a great movie scene and why choose awful actors?

    Ummmmm… What was the point?

You guys rarely feature Rap or hip hop on here, and when you do, you gotta give this talentless piece of shit coverage lol?! Try doing an article on a REAL producer who can actually compose some shit and knows music. Someone like Juicy J, Havoc, Alchemist, Lex Luger..shit, anyone but this fuckstick.
