‘Jurassic Park 4’ Coming In 2015; Licensing Art For ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ and ‘Ghostbusters’

Comingsoon snagged show floor photos from the ongoing Licensing Expo where they not only scored a look at the banner art for Godzilla, but also a few other horror films.

First, there’s a banner for Universal’s delayed Jurassic Park 4, which promises that Steven Spielberg’s park will reopen in 2015. Colin Trevorrow is directing from a script by Amanda Silver & Rick Jaffa and Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. And in case you’re wondering, it will be in 3-D, says the site.

There’s also a new look at the ape Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, in theaters May 23 from director Matt Reeves and 20th Century Fox. In the prequel’s sequel, “A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Lastly, Sony is teasing the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters. Does this mean we’ll finally get to see the third film in production, or are they focused on selling more toys? Time will tell.

The lack of a “4” in that title gets me very nervous. Make it good, guys! I’m disappointed that they’re delaying it by a year, but hopefully that makes it a better film.
