[Modern Art] These Retro Horror Game Covers Make Me Nostalgic For The Old Days

As we all patiently wait for the next generation of consoles to release and take video games one step closer to their inevitable digital future, I thought it might be fun to take a look at some retro game covers. Ever wondered what your favorite horror game might look like on an old Atari 2600 cartridge? Of course you have, the thought crosses all our minds at least once. Every time I go out and buy a game, I think of the good old days, before my game cases were crammed with guides, season passes, redeemable codes and all that nonsense.

Now, I can look at these fantastic faux covers and think of the time when I actually enjoyed keeping my game cases. They’re pretty great.

Ah, the days when the whole game was in the package and you didn’t have to pay more. Those were the days.

Ahhh these are wonderful. Miss the old days. I miss the days when games came with books filled with crazy art and all of the information a younger gamer could want with their videogame.
