Jennifer Lopez, pictured, has landed in Jason Blum’s new micro-budget thriller, The Boy Next Door, that the Paranormal Activity producer will make under his first-look deal at Universal, Variety writes.
“Lopez will star as a newly separated mother who begins an affair with a new teenage neighbor who befriends her son. Trouble ensues, however, when she tries to abruptly end the relationship.”
I want Lopez to seduce me. Please?
Monster Squad, xXx and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor director Rob Cohen is in talks to direct the film from a script by Barbara Curry.
Next Door begins shooting in the fall as Lopez’s other high-profile gig, a judging stint on “American Idol,” gears up for its January start.
