Last month is was revealed that Syfy would be expanding their relationship with Entertainment One as the NBCUniversal-owned cable network has acquired Canadian original scripted werewolf drama “Bitten,” which we’ve now landed the first trailer for!

Desperate to escape both a world she never wanted to be part of and the man who turned her into a werewolf, Elena abandons her Pack and takes refuge in a new city, starting over with a hot new romance and a successful photography career. But when bodies turn up in the werewolf sanctuary, Elena is torn between the life she’s building and the wild and dangerously unpredictable one she thought she left behind.

Laura Vandervoort (Smallville, Ted), Greyston Holt (Once Upon a Time), Greg Bryk (A History of Violence), Paul Greene (NCIS), Steve Lund (Haven) all star.

The 13-episode drama will air on Syfy, as well as Bell Media’s Space network in Canada in 2014.

Supergil turns into a Werewolf <3
It seems to be very similar to "True Blood", lots of sex, blood and trashy effects and characters, but indescribable entertaining! I'm gonna to watch the pilot, at least, and then we see if this show really works…

This looks like it’s based off of Kelley Armstrong’s Otherworld series, which is hopefully a good thing. The books are great, but I’m not overly impressed with who they’ve picked to play Elena and Clay. Time will tell, I guess.

Looks like a big “meh” to me. Werewolves look like normal wolves. Every actor has to look like a pretty ass. Looks totally cliche of everything on television now.

i’m in. i adore Laura Vandervoort.

seriously, this was made for 13 year old girls. theres nothing exciting about werewolves actually being wolves. thanks to twilight, we will be forever damned with this formula. off to sulk like a bitch and watch american werewolf in london.

Werewolves have been told in stories to transform into regular wolves for centuries and in many different cultures, so don’t give shit like Twilight the satisfaction of innovation. The transformation in this trailer, as far as I can tell, looks really exciting and well executed, emotional as well. Twilight had some ripped hunky shirtless dudes jumping into mid-air, transforming like nothing fucking happened. The wolves in twilight were not actual wolves, but giant cgi teddy bears that needed a trim. Real wolves are capable of looking downright scary.

Really looking forward to this show, hopefully it comes to the US shortly after it premieres in Canada. Big fan of Armstrong’s writing.

Also, if you find nothing exciting about werewolves being actual wolves, then you need to see Company of Wolves, that shit is scary and classic.
