Trailer for Spanish Horror ‘Whispers of the Forest’

A trailer has been released for Jorge Olguin’s Whispers of the Forest (Gritos Del Bosque), which stars Fernanda Urrejola, Paulo Brunetti, and Felipe Contreras.

It will be for sale at next month’s AFM market in Santa Monica.

Twitch caught wind of the trailer for the 3-D film that “revolves around a pair of Chilean women hired as guides to take a team of international engineers into the wild to conduct a survey for a proposed dam. But what they find are the ghosts of warriors slain in battle five hundred years before.

do NOT dub a movie, learn the language or read the subtitle.

Totally agree. IMO one looses out on a lot of emotional and cultural storytelling by listening to movies dubbed — even with the best dub job; something always gets lost in translation.

^^ Spot on, both of ya. Not to be cliche, but try and imagine watching The Orphanage or Pan’s Labyrinth in English dub. Talk about the whole tone of the story flying right out the window…

This looks really cool. I’ll have to check it out.

i agree w/ all of you. i will NOT ever watch a dubbed movie. it completely takes me out of/keeps me from getting into a movie.
