New ‘Daylight’ Trailer Explores Its Haunted Hospital

A new trailer for Daylight, Zombie’s upcoming survival horror game where the world is procedurally generated making every playthrough different from the last, made its way online today. If you weren’t excited for this before, there’s a decent chance you will be now. This game looks terrifying.

I’ve been following Daylight since its reveal last June. It’s from the makers of the Saw video games, so this is a developer that’s already proven pretty capable in crafting solid horror games. Abandoned hospitals might not be the most original setting for a horror game, but I’m very much looking forward to exploring Mid Island Hospital unarmed and alone. Check out the new trailer after the jump.

Daylight comes to the PC and PlayStation 4 in early 2014.

God, this looks terrifying! And procedurally generated levels? I think I might just have to be a backseat gamer for this one. I love that we can hear the main character’s voice/thoughts, though- it really ups the fear, at least in this trailer. I hope they use it throughout. Please do a playthrough so I can live vicariously through you guys!
