Haven’t you heard? Alien: Isolation was announced today and it looks pretty great. It looks like a terrifying blend of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Outlast, set in space where no one can hear you scream when the lone xenomorph — yes, there will only be one this time — comes up behind you to eat your face with its second mouth.
I don’t want to be excited because Aliens games have burned me far too many times, but I’m finding it difficult not to get at least a little excited for this.
Note: Because I’m a genius, I mistakenly posted the behind the scenes video in the initial Alien: Isolation post, so if you’re seeing this twice you can find the debut trailer here.
Alien: Isolation is scheduled to arrive in late 2014 for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
