TVLine reports that “Rosemary’s Baby” has found its nefarious hubby and neighbor.
“Awake’s” Jason Isaacs, pictured above, and “Suits” star Patrick J. Adams have joined the cast of NBC’s miniseries adaptation of Ira Levin’s demonic novel.
“The network’s version of the tale moves the action to Paris, where young wife/mother-to-be Rosemary (played by Zoe Saldana) and her husband Guy (Adams) move into an apartment with a dark history. As time passes, Rosemary becomes convinced that her husband and neighbors have dastardly designs on her unborn child.”
Isaacs co-stars as warlock/coven-leader Roman Castevet, a role played by Sidney Blackmer in Roman Polanski’s 1968 film based on the book. Guy, meanwhile, was portrayed by John Cassavetes.
Agnieszka Holland (“Treme”) will direct, with a script by Scott Abbott and James Wong (“American Horror Story”).
