Disgusting Body Horror ‘Contracted’ Hits DVD On March 18th!

IFC Midnight will release Eric England’s twisted horror film Contracted on DVD in a few weeks on March 18th. Written and directed by England, the film stars Najarra Townsend, Matt Mercer, Alice Macdonald, Katie Stegeman, Simon Barrett, Charlie Koontz, and Caroline Williams.

If you haven’t seen the film and need some extra motivation when it comes to your abstinence program, this is the movie for you. And you can watch it as much as you want with this disc. We’ll keep you posted on special features when they’re announced!

“Contracted tells the terrifying tale of a young girl who has a one-night stand with a stranger and contracts what she thinks is a sexually transmitted disease – but it is actually something far worse. As things begin to crumble around her, she is sent on a disturbing and bloodcurdling journey sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

    i liked this movie. it’s an interesting take on the zombie genre. this movie and the just released THE RETURNED (the movie, not the French show or the French movie) were both pretty good alternate takes on the zombie genre.

    I hate to say it but i have already forgotten the details of this movie so too me it was kind of forgettable..
    what i do remember is that I didnt like the lead character that much so i could care less if she fell apart..
    My biggest gripe with Contracted was that they really dropped the ball by not getting into the “BJ” character who was the carrier enough…The creepiest aspect of this movie was virtually ignored…
