“Game of Thrones” actress Gwendoline Christie, pictured, is replacing “American Horror Story” actress Lily Rabe as the Commander Lyme characters in Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, reports Variety.
Rabe was forced drop out due to a scheduling conflict with a previous commitment to perform in “Much Ado about Nothing” at Shakespeare in the Park.
The Commander Lyme character is one of the leaders of District 13 and hails from District 2 as a past victor of a Hunger Games.
In theaters November 20, 2015, “Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she’s made it out of the bloody arena alive, she’s still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what’s worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss’s family, not her friends, not the people of District 12.“
