This year’s QuakeCon kicked off yesterday with a handful of events that center around all things Bethesda, including a Battlecry match and an Elder Scrolls Online PvP tournament, among a bunch of other stuff. That’s all fine, but the most exciting event was the long-awaited presentation of the next Doom, which was shown off exclusively to QuakeCon attendies. We weren’t there to see it, but everything we’ve heard points to it’s looking like a worthy entry in the longstanding horror franchise.
About 3,000 fans were able to see the game in person for the first time ever. After the game was shown off, the folks at who run the unofficial QuakeCon forums asked attendees what they thought of it. See what they had to say about the game below.
