‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Comic-Con Footage Revealed! #SDCC

“2015 belongs to the Mad!”

The first full trailer for 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road has been released and it looks insane! Complete with Frankenstein-ed vehicles, destructive car chases, intense violence, and nasty, nightmarish characters, I have a feeling that the fourth entry into the Mad Max series is going to be nothing short of a pure adrenalized thrill ride! Watch the trailer below!

Directed by George Miller, the creator of the original trilogy, Fury Road stars Tom Hardy (Inception) and Charlize Theron (The Devil’s Advocate).

  • WalkingDeadGuy

I’ll admit, I’ve never seen the original films, but this looks pretty awesome. I’ll give it a go.

    • EG

…maybe u should watch the original films first. They truly are AWESOME.

    • Krug09

I saw the first two not the third. They are good but the first one has awful dubbing.

      • Bouncy X

dubbing depends on which version you saw….i know it was recently released on blu and apparently its the original dialogue!

        • Krug09

True… I own and am referring to the original VHS. The dubbing is as bad the bruce lee films possibly worse and the added sound mix is very bad.

    • skratchy

First two are incredibly awesome. Third one is weird cheesy over the top garbage, for it’s time anyway, and practically stars Tina Turner. And, as a side note, I have no idea what dubbing these two are talking about.

  • Undeadzed88

aaaaaaaand, I’m sold! this movie looks nothing short of bad ass and epic, let’s hope the movie is as awesome as the trailer *fingers crossed*

  • Dev

It does look like it’s got the spirit of the original films down pretty well, with some pretty far-out looking set pieces. Looking forward to this one.

  • This looks very good and Hardy is totally an inspiring choice to play the lead role. The whole footage with the villains and the vehincles reminds of the latest Twisted MEtal!

  • Weresmurf

The man playing the guy in the skull gas mask played TOECUTTER in the first Mad Max, the leader of the bikie group that killed Max Rockatanskys wife and child. Now, while George Miller has a history of using actors over and over again for different roles (Bruce Spence in 2 and 3 for instance), wouldn’t it be awesome if we found out Toecutter survived part 1 somehow and this was how he ended up? Messed up from his runin with Max? 😀

    • David Curry

I don’t see how Toecutter could have possibly survived, but either way, it’s great to have the actor back for the new movie

      • Weresmurf

Indeed, and likely he didn’t. There would actually be zero need for it actually to be Toecutter. His head would have to look like a smashed watermelon… I don’t see how either. But you know lol, wishful thinking.

And now I feel like watching 1 and 2 again!

  • shattered68

I got to see this movie at a test screening a few months back and it is awesome! Non stop action. I think I like it better than the road warrior (my favorite of the original trilogy).

  • Krug09

Looks like a cool movie. The way the characters look is more stylized though. Not that its a good or bad thing just saying.

    • skratchy

I don’t know. There were some pretty crazy outfits in Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome… Not really in the original.

      • Krug09

Yeah my comment wasn’t very clear. I mean the Road Warrior was very stylized but i mean the make up on their faces in this film looks very exaggerated and colorful. Much more so then sequels.

  • Spike0037

From what I read Tom Hardy (Max) doesn’t have a lot of dialogue.

  • GRIM

My nerd boner is throbbing, CANT WAIT!!!

  • Mark Lepine

Wow, a Jaws sequel, and now this trailer. 2015 looks like it will be pretty damn epic.

    • Weresmurf

      Wait, what? O_o

  • Gianmarco Calandrini

Who are the five ladies in the desert?

Can’t wait for this movie. It’s funny, though, because it seems to me that Miller’s world is not very far away from Robb Zombie’s character creations yet I love the former & loathe the latter for some reason. I really hope this movie does well because if it manages to capture the interest of the Fast & Furious fans, we could be looking at another awesome trilogy w/the always-awesome Tom Hardy leading it back to prominence.
