Jeffrey Reddick, creator of the Final Destination franchise, is gearing up to make his directorial debut with a horror flick called The Final Reel.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will be about a director who is able to manipulate reality through his movies. He uses the power to “torment the residents of a small town by bringing their darkest fears to life.” Reddick is also penning the screenplay.
This sounds a little Stephen King-y to me, which is okay in my book. It’ll be cool to see how Reddick approaches the whole “manipulate reality through film” angle. There’s still a hole in my heart from the end of the Final Destination franchise, so hopefully this helps fill it.
