‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ Isn’t Arriving Until 2016

After sharing a first look with EW this past October, Sony Screen Gems’ has decided to hold Seth Grahame-Green’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies to a Valentine’s Day weekend release of February 19, 2016.

The prolonged date isn’t a bad thing. Screen Gems is known to date movies years in advance. They’re cool like that.

Above is said photo of the Bennett sisters – Elizabeth (Lily James), Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Mary (Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) – in the adaptation directed by Burr Steers.

This mash-up that begins with the tangled relationship between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England, and is complicated by a full on outbreak of zombies.
