According to Variety, Forest Whitaker is in negotiations to appear in Corin Hardy’s remake of The Crow, which will star Jack Huston in the title role.
If everything works out, Whitaker will join production for the revenge thriller after finishing his current project, the sci-fi drama The Story Of Your Life, which also stars Amy Adams. After The Crow, Whitaker should then be taking part in Star Wars: Rogue One, which will be directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla).
In the 1994 film that starred Brandon Lee, a couple are viciously attacked the night before their wedding. The man, Eric Draven, rises from the dead a year later to take his revenge on the gang that destroyed his life.
