Another E3 trailer?! You don’t say? For those in the mood for a base-builder meets third-person shooter game with zombies (gotta have ’em!), People Can Fly and Epic Games’ Fortnite will hit consoles and PC on July 25th. And just in case you’re not convinced of the potential fun you could have, there’s that trailer.
The game has players tasked with building up their bases against hordes of zombies, with base designs varying in complexity and traps. There are several hero types with specific skills, as well as the focus on crafting a variety of weapons to fend off zombies. The art style obviously takes after Blizzard’s Overwatch, but then again, Overwatch took after Team Fortress 2 and its art style. Obviously, art style and gameplay are two entirely different things, but they factor into that fun thing. And with a base entry price of $39.99, it’s a tempting offer.
Pre-orders are available, with scaling levels of bonuses, depending on what you pay.
