Writers Reveal Script Pages from ‘Friday the 13th’ Remake’s Sequel; Jason Kills On Ice!

“Ed watches in horror as Jason Voorhees does something he’s never done before: He steps out onto Crystal Lake.”

Earlier this week, Friday the 13th remake writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift finally revealed the title of their sequel that was never made: The Death of Jason Voorhees.

Shannon and Swift also revealed that the film was set to be a direct sequel to their 2009 remake, but centered on new characters rather than continuing Whitney and Clay’s story. As they had previously noted, the remake’s sequel was also going to be set in the Winter, which would’ve been a hugely exciting first for the franchise.

Now, in celebration of Friday the 13th, the writers have uploaded four pages of the sequel’s script to Twitter. And they picked good ones, as the pages highlight Jason’s very first trip out onto a frozen Crystal Lake, wherein he slays one unlucky hockey player in a scene that surely would’ve been one of the coolest in the franchise’s history.

What ever happened to Whitney Miller? Well, the pages reveal her fate as well…
