Capcom really hat outdone themselves with the unlockable costumes in Resident Evil: Revelations. Jill and Keith look deliciously cheesy, but Chris’s costume is particularly unforgettable. I really hope Capcom releases a batch of Chris pin-up posters, because this is just too good.
I’d say more, but I’d rather you checked them out for yourself. I wouldn’t want to say too much.
It might not have a release date, but that’s not going to stop us from talking about Lollipop Chainsaw preorder incentives! I’m usually not one for preordering games, but as a horror fan, GameStop’s Ash costume might be worth it. If you’re not one to shy away from tough decisions, preordering the game at GameStop will let you dress as Ash from Evil Dead. If you’re a PowerUp Rewards member you’ll also get Mindless Self Indulgence’s Jimmy Urine (who’s also working on the game’s soundtrack)
If all that doesn’t tickle your fashionista fancy, Amazon is offering a Rockabilly costume, and Best Buy has a Goth Girl and a Foxy Funk outfit. If you’d like to make a more informed decision, head past the jump to see all of the costumes in action. READ MORE
If you recall a little over a week ago I posted about the Rise Of Nightmares pre-order bonuses. They are not so good. And just when you thought there couldn’t be a worse bonus, along comes the Amazon.com pre order bonus. For the exact same price, you get a Jester avatar pet. That’s it.
Listen, I know I’m bitching. I mean we should be grateful we get ANYTHING at all for free with the game just for pre-ordering. I remember spending full price for a game when I was younger, getting absolutely NOTHING extra with it, and then hating the crap out of the game. We live in a good era for video games. But if Amazon wants to beat out Game Stop they need to schmooze some better exclusives. Although Amazon does a lot of the time offer you a 20 dollar credit towards your next video game when you buy a new game from them. READ MORE
If you haven’t already checked out the frighteningly horrific Rise Of Nightmares screen shots that Adam posted 2 articles down, I suggest you stop acting like a scared little baby and do it. I mean sure Adam basically came onto the entire BD audience, but that’s nothing to be so afraid of. He’s gentle, and soft, and likes to coo softly in your ears to get you going.
I’ve strayed WAY far off the subject. If you pre-order Rise Of Nightmares from your local Game Stop you get some absolutely meh bonuses. I know you’re dying to know what the “lame” exclusive bonus stuff is, so I’m going to hold your hand to the mouse and make you click to head past the break to find out what exactly it all is. Want another way to slay countless unsuspecting Necromorphs when Dead Space 2 graces our eager consoles in January? Good, because GameStop has you in mind with their exclusive bonus that nets you a fancy little rivet gun when you preorder the game. Does this thing remind anyone else of the Noisy Cricket?
Dead Space 2 is out soon, January 25th to be precise (and I always enjoy being precise). So if you find yourself interested in this exciting new way to cause heaps of pain upon your enemies, I suggest you head past the jump so you can really get to know this classy new gun. READ MORE
