Resident Evil 6 Infects Captivate ’12 With A New Trailer And Release Date

You know what just happened? A lot of things happened, and most of them occurred at Capcom’s annual Captivate event, where we were given a ton of delicious announcements. First up is Resident Evil 6, a little-known indie game from an unproven studio, due out this year. Actually, I just lied right there. This game is Capcom’s biggest project yet, and it promises more of the horror and zombies fans have wanted from the series along with even more action, and multiple cooperative campaigns.

Usually when you read that a highly anticipated game is getting a new release date that news is usually turns out to be a bad thing. Thankfully, Capcom’s actually pushed up the release date for Resident Evil 6 and given us a bunch of screenshots and a brand new trailer that answers a ton of questions.
