12 years is a damn long time to wait for a sequel. But a game like Diablo and Diablo II people are still playing to this day. But finally coming out on May 15th is Diablo III for the PC and Mac. Past the break you can check out an awesome TV commercial for the game that you may have already seen if you watch TV a lot. Lez b honest here. These video game trailers and commercials are looking so good lately it’s actually making me mad. Because we watch Hollywood time and time again rape our favorite video games. I’m still waiting for confirmation that Nathan Fillion will be playing Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movies. Alas we are stuck with these incredible love action commercials and trailers from video games that look better than the shitty video game movies that get cranked out. I’ve seen a good number of fantastic trailers, but this one takes the cake for really looking like an authentic, near future ad for a potentially evil corporation. This TV spot, which advertises in a very subtle way the long awaited Deus Ex: Human Revolution is so brilliantly made it almost made me want to look up Sarif Industries in the Yellow Pages so I could completely replace my lower half with bionic goodness. Now, don’t take that to mean I have issues down under, It’s all good down there, but I’m not the type of person who would ever turn down a bionic cock.
In a way this trailer reminds me of the teaser for Resident Evil: Apocalypse that was a faux commercial for the Umbrella Corporation. If you ran into DC Douglas while walking down the street you’d recognize him instantly as he’s the voice of one of the best villains of all time, Albert Wesker. It would also seem the guy has a rather incredible sense of humor because Mr. Douglas took time out of undoubtedly busy day to record an advert for Uroboros in the style of the Old Spice ads that have become some insanely popular lately. Watch it and I guarantee the video below will make you a better person.
