The Image Comics/Shadowline graphic novel Dear Dracula has been adapted as a one-hour animated feature and is set to air on October 16th, 2012 at 7 PM (ET) as part of Cartoon Network’s “Spooky Specials” Halloween programming.. “Dear Dracula” is a children’s graphic novel written by Joshua Williamson with art from Vicente “Vinny” Navarete is a 48-page, released in 2008.
The “Dear Dracula” graphic novel follows a young boy, Sam, who is obsessed with Dracula. Sam decided to write to the classic vampire instead of Santa for Christmas, telling him he wants to be a real vampire on Halloween this year.
